Meet in Westcliffe at noon on Friday for the caravan to our campsite and Mission: Wolf sanctuary. Our time together concludes on Sunday at 2pm. We will remain on site throughout the duration of our retreat.
Location in Colorado:
This event takes place near the town of Westcliffe at Mission: Wolf sanctuary in the Wet Mountains of southcentral Colorado. The drive from Denver and Colorado Springs to the retreat site is approximately four hours or two hours, respectively. Denver International Airport is our closest major airport. Colorado Springs Airport offers limited flights. Parking on site for our event is limited, and we want to minimize our carbon footprint, so carpooling is strongly encouraged. Specific details, driving directions, and carpool coordination will be provided to attendees after confirming intent to attend.

Investment for our retreat:
$150-$360 per person
What’s Included:
♥ 5 meals prepared as a village. These include: dinner on Friday; breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday; and breakfast on Sunday. Vegan and gluten-free options are available for a small upcharge.
♥ 2 nights camping
♥ Facilitation for all activities and unstructured time
♥ Private chat group for connection, planning, and post-retreat integration
♥ Membership donation to Mission: Wolf sanctuary.

Meet our Host
Melissa Lynn Reed is the visionary for Women Rising Wild and founder of Wild Psyche and Wild Heart Revival LLC. She is a fourth-generation healer and transformational wilderness guide. Melissa holds a BA and MS in ecology and is pursuing her doctorate in psychology at Saybrook University with a focus in consciousness and spiritual studies. Melissa has over 30 years experience as a wildlife biologist specializing in studies of rare and endangered mammals. She is a seasoned tracker, medicine weaver, yogini, and mystic with deep and intimate ties with nature. She has led more than 200 nature-based workshops and guided more than 80 multi-day science and adventure retreats for more than 2000 adults and children. Summer 2024, Melissa hosted her 24th wolves and wilderness retreat.
